In this case you may not get the results you want as the buffer settings and all are determined by the default windows driver Not that Alezis looked though so apologies if I’m wrong, but it’d be bizarre to say the least – mind you this is Alesis we’re talking about The multi mix will more than likely be recognized as a USB nultimix device by Windows.

Employee March 31, Employee April 03, Plus I’d email Alesis tech support and tell allesis that someone over there said no drivers are on the page. I can’t speak for the Multimix stuff, but I have the Mastercontrol and it works perfectly. Wish to upgrade the audio chain.

Maybe there is a driver somewhere in cyberland You usually see values like,64, 32 or 16 for latency. It won’t require any drivers to communicate with your computer.
Give it a try and let us know if it works. The highest latency I would use is and that is not good enough for recording, but great for when your trying to make a mix and have a lot of effects in multi-track.
Here is a better explination from the Alesis Reference Manual Anyway, there are no x64 drivers for the multimix series If I had Audition here on this computer I could tell you exactly what that is and where, but I’m too far from my Audition now to do it.
I have a multimix albeit a FW12 but that’s older technology than the USB versions of the multimix and I have drivers that work on Windows 7 x64, so you should be able to ussb drivers for yours without any problem.

There’s definitely Windows x64 drivers for the Firewire Multimix ‘cos I’m using them, and that’s a discontinued product. Jim Roseberry Max Output Level: The only problem with lower latency is that it could cause drop outs if your computer is working hard so test it by lowering it one by one. I only wish Multjmix knew this myself, before I was ‘stuck’ with an Alesis product.
I think you may mulgimix misunderstood my question. To minimize this risk, audio can be stored in a buffer for a certain amount of time.
